The 3D solid model shown below illustrates the layout and design of piping for the transfer of waste from underground storage tanks. The design encompasses the use of 3D modeling techniques as well as qualification of piping and supports to perform the waste transfer using NVE Power Fluidics technology.

Mechanical / Structural Design and Analysis                   

Our experienced staff of engineers performs structural analyses of components to ensure designers that these components are within acceptable limits of sound engineering and in compliance with industry standards. Typically the analyses require the use of finite element stress analysis techniques over a variety of loading conditions, including pressure, thermal (steady-state or transient) seismic, vibration-induced, applied external, etc.

 Qualification of a Reactor Vessel for a Nuclear Power Plant - The reactor vessel is subject to a variety of loading conditions, including pressure, thermal transients, seismic, LOCA, etc. A complete ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code evaluation was performed for the customer, including the delivery of a stress report.
